Workspace domain
Configure a custom domain for your bldrAgent workspace — used for workspace login pages, app URLs, and branded access points.
Workspace domain (Enterprise)
Enterprise workspaces can configure a workspace domain — a custom domain that acts as the primary access point for your workspace.
This means users in your organisation visit app.yourcompany.com instead of bldr.app.
What the workspace domain affects
- The login page for your workspace (SSO or email)
- The base domain for apps published without their own custom domain
- Branded links shared with your team
Setting up your workspace domain
- Go to Workspace Settings → Domain
- Enter your desired domain (e.g.
platform.yourcompany.com) - bldrAgent will provide DNS records to add to your DNS provider:
- CNAME record pointing to
workspace.bldr.app - TXT record for domain verification
- CNAME record pointing to
- Add both records in your DNS provider
- Click Verify in bldrAgent — DNS propagation takes 5–30 minutes
- bldrAgent automatically provisions SSL for the domain
Subdomain recommendations
| Scenario | Recommended domain |
|---|---|
| Internal team tool | tools.yourcompany.com |
| Customer-facing platform | app.yourcompany.com |
| Client portal | portal.yourcompany.com |
Important notes
- Workspace domain is an Enterprise plan feature
- You must own and control the domain you're configuring
- The domain must resolve publicly (private/intranet domains are not supported unless using a split-DNS configuration)
- Removing the workspace domain will break any bookmarked links your team has saved
Individual app domains
In addition to the workspace domain, each app can have its own custom domain configured in App Settings → Domain. This is available on Pro plan and above. See Managing app settings for details.
