Template Marketplace
Browse, buy, and sell app templates in the bldrAgent Template Marketplace. Find the right starting point for your project, or earn money by contributing quality templates to the community.
The bldrAgent Template Marketplace
The bldrAgent Template Marketplace is where builders find a head start and where experienced creators earn real income by sharing what they've built. Whether you're looking for the fastest way to launch your next project or you want to turn your expertise into revenue, this is where it happens.
For users: finding the right template
What the marketplace offers
Every template in the marketplace is a complete, working application — not a theme or a wireframe. When you install a template you get:
- Fully built screens and navigation
- A pre-configured data model (database tables and relationships)
- Working logic (forms, automations, user roles, payment flows)
- A clean visual design you can restyle instantly
Templates are built by bldrAgent and by experienced community contributors. All of them go through quality review before they appear in the marketplace.
Browsing and finding the right template
Visit /templates to explore the full library.
Filter by what matters to you:
- Category — E-commerce, Operations, Booking & Scheduling, Community, Real Estate, Games, and more
- Project type — Website or Mobile App
- Price — Free, paid, or all
- Source — Official bldrAgent templates or Community templates
Each template card shows:
- A preview image and live demo link
- A description of what the app does and who it's for
- The price (free or a one-time fee)
- Ratings and reviews from other builders
- The contributor's name and trust score
Tip: Click Preview before you buy. Every template has a live demo you can click through so you know exactly what you're getting.
Using a template for your project
Templates are not a rigid starting point — they are a foundation you own completely once you install them. The AI understands the existing structure and makes surgical changes to turn a generic template into your specific product.
Installing a template:
- Browse the marketplace at /templates
- Click Preview to try the live demo
- Click Use this template to install it as a new project
- The template is copied into your workspace — it's yours to edit
- Open the AI chat and start customising
Example customisations after installing a booking template:
"Rename 'Service' to 'Lesson' throughout the app. Change the brand colour to midnight blue. Add a requirement for customers to prepay when booking."
"Add an instructor-facing mobile view so staff can see their schedule for the day."
"Replace the default email confirmation with one that includes a map link to our studio location."
The template speeds up the 80% of work that is similar across all apps of that type. The AI handles the 20% that makes your version unique.
The 30-day money back guarantee
Every paid template in the marketplace is backed by a 30-day money back guarantee.
If a paid template does not work as described, does not match its preview, or simply does not fit your project, contact support within 30 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.
To request a refund, go to Account → Purchases and click Request refund next to the template, or contact support@bldr.app.
Free vs. paid templates
| Free templates | Paid templates | |
|---|---|---|
| Source | bldrAgent official + community | Community contributors |
| Complexity | Starter to mid-level | Mid-level to advanced |
| Support | Community + docs | Contributor + bldrAgent support |
| Refund | N/A | 30-day money back guarantee |
| Updates | Maintained by bldrAgent | Maintained by contributor |
Both free and paid templates are subject to the same quality review process before they appear in the marketplace.
For contributors: building and selling templates
If you have built something great on bldrAgent — a polished booking system, a well-structured e-commerce store, a community platform — there is a real audience for it in the marketplace. Thousands of builders are looking for a head start every day.
Who can sell templates
The ability to list paid templates in the marketplace is determined by your plan. Not all plans include marketplace selling access.
| Plan | Free templates | Paid templates |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | ✓ Submit for review | — |
| Pro | ✓ Submit for review | ✓ Sell paid templates |
| Business | ✓ Submit for review | ✓ Sell paid templates |
| Enterprise | ✓ Submit for review | ✓ Sell paid templates + priority placement |
Check your current plan at Account → Billing & Plans or see Billing and plans for a full comparison.
If you are on a plan that does not yet include paid selling, you can still publish free templates and build your contributor reputation — which makes approval faster when you upgrade.
What makes a good marketplace template
The marketplace is curated for quality. bldrAgent reviews every submission before it goes live. Templates that get approved — and that earn strong ratings — share a few things in common:
1. It solves a clear, real problem
The best templates have a well-defined audience. "A booking system for fitness instructors" sells consistently. "A general app with some screens" does not. Name your audience and build precisely for them.
2. It works out of the box
A buyer should be able to install your template, preview it, and immediately see a functional application — no broken flows, no missing connections, no placeholder errors. Every form should submit. Every page should load. Every role should behave correctly.
3. It is well-structured for customisation
Builders will want to reshape your template. Use clear naming conventions for your data tables, pages, and components. Avoid tightly coupling things that do not need to be coupled. A well-structured template is easier to modify with the AI, which means better reviews.
4. It has a compelling preview
Your template's preview image and live demo are your storefront. High-quality screenshots, a live demo that is seeded with realistic sample data, and a description that explains what the app does and who it is for will all drive conversions.
Submitting a template
- Open your project in bldrAgent
- Go to Project Settings → Publish to Marketplace
- Fill in:
- Name and description — be specific about who this is for
- Category — choose the most relevant category
- Preview images — at least 3 screenshots showing key screens
- Price — free or set your price (minimum $9, recommended $19–$79 for mid-level, $99+ for complex templates)
- What's included — list the key screens, features, and data models
- Submit for review
Review timeline: Most templates receive a decision within 3–5 business days. If your template is declined, you will receive specific feedback on what needs to change.
Quality monitoring
bldrAgent monitors all templates in the marketplace on an ongoing basis — not just at submission time.
How quality is monitored:
- Buyer ratings and reviews — buyers rate and review templates after use. Consistently low ratings trigger a review.
- Support request patterns — if a template generates an unusually high volume of support requests for broken flows or misleading descriptions, it is flagged for re-review.
- Periodic audits — bldrAgent re-evaluates templates when significant platform updates occur to ensure they still work correctly.
- Compatibility checks — when bldrAgent releases updates that could affect existing templates, contributors are notified and given time to update.
What happens if a template fails quality checks:
- First notice: You receive a detailed report and a window to fix the issues.
- Continued issues: The template is temporarily unlisted while you address the feedback.
- Refund implications: Templates that generate refund requests above a defined threshold may be reviewed for potential delisting.
Maintaining your templates is part of being a good marketplace contributor. Builders who keep their templates updated and respond to feedback build strong reputations that translate into consistent revenue.
How payouts work
When a buyer purchases your template, the revenue is split between you and bldrAgent. Your payout rate depends on your plan and contributor standing.
Payouts are processed monthly to your connected Stripe account. You can view your earnings history, pending payouts, and individual sale records in Account → Marketplace Earnings.
To receive payouts, connect a Stripe account in Account → Marketplace Earnings → Connect Stripe. This is separate from any Stripe account you use for your own apps.
Building a reputation as a contributor
Your contributor profile shows your templates, average rating, total downloads, and any featured or top-seller badges bldrAgent awards. Buyers use this to make decisions — a contributor with five well-rated templates is more trusted than an unknown first submission.
Ways to build your contributor reputation:
- Publish free templates first to prove quality and gather early reviews
- Respond to buyer questions and feedback promptly
- Update your templates when new bldrAgent features improve what your template can do
- Write thorough descriptions and document customisation tips in the template's readme
Template pricing guidance
| Template complexity | Suggested price range |
|---|---|
| Simple (5–10 screens, basic logic) | Free – $19 |
| Mid-level (10–25 screens, auth, payments) | $29 – $79 |
| Advanced (25+ screens, complex workflows) | $99 – $199 |
| Enterprise / niche specialist | $199+ |
Pricing above market rate will hurt your conversion rate. Pricing too low can undervalue your work and signal lower quality. Review what similar templates in your category cost before setting your price.
